Infrastructure and security review
What this is
An hour on a video call where we look at one concrete thing together. Pick one:
- Your infrastructure and security posture. What you're running, how access works, what's exposed, what would hurt if it broke or leaked. I'll tell you the two or three things I'd fix first.
- AI touching your systems. Your team uses AI tools, or agents are starting to reach production, and you're not sure what that means for security - what they can read, what they can change, and what guardrails actually hold. This is where I spend most of my time.
- Leveraging AI in your workflows. Where AI and agents genuinely help in engineering and ops - deploys, diagnostics, incident triage, the boring toil - what to try first, and how to roll it out without handing your infrastructure to a black box. I run my own production fleet this way every day.
What it costs
- £500 - one hour. You bring the stack, I bring the questions, you leave with a short written list of what I'd fix and in what order.
- £800 - two hours, booked as two separate one-hour sessions. The first goes wide and finds the problems. You go away and change things. The second checks the work and goes deep on whatever turned out to matter most. Most people get more out of this than a single long call.
Who I am
I'm a site reliability engineer with 20+ years running production infrastructure - public cloud at scale, Kubernetes and AWS estates at GoDaddy, Sky, and NET-A-PORTER. I now run a multi-region production fleet where AI agents do real operational work under change control, and I'm the founder of AlertKick, a security monitoring and compliance platform for teams without a dedicated security function. This isn't advice from a slide deck; it's what I do all day on my own systems.

You're paying for the hour, so the hour is yours. I'm not selling you AlertKick on the call, and if it isn't relevant to your situation I'll say so. If I can't be useful to you in the first ten minutes, we stop and you don't pay.
What happens to what you tell me
Treated as confidential, no recordings unless you ask for one, and nothing you share is used in content without your explicit OK. Happy to sign an NDA if that makes it easier.
